- Clean the affected area thoroughly before applying a liberal layer of the poultice
- For best results, cover the application with damp paper or plastic and secure with a bandage
- Leave the poultice on for up to 24 hours before washing off with a hose
- Use only as directed, follow safety instructions on pack for use
- For external treatment only
- Wear gloves when applying and wash hands well after use
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and out of reach of children and animals

- To assist after racing, competition or heavy exercise, coat targeted area with SwellDOWN. Wrapping is not essential, simply cleanse the area thoroughly and coat the area with a liberal amount of SwellDOWN. Leave in place for 2 to 4 hours then wash off with water, ensuring all SwellDOWN is removed. May be used daily.
- For maximum results: Apply SwellDOWN and wrap with moist paper (preferably brown paper or newspaper). Apply Kelato's EnduroWRAP cohesive bandage to hold in place.
- Hoof: Pack bottom of hoof with SwellDOWN and hold in place with moist paper (preferably brown paper) and hoof boots.
- LIMIT APPLICATION TO ONCE EVERY 24 HOURS. Do not apply other liniments or heating/cooling products immediately after using SwellDOWN.
