Pet Suitability & Product care
x- Suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, gerbils, hamsters, rats, and mice
- Feed unlimited amounts daily
- Store in a cool, dry place to maintain freshness
- Some foods may not be suitable for all species- ensure the product is appropriate for your specific pet
- Pellets are a supplemental feed and should typically make up no more than 10% of the diet (rabbits and guinea pigs)
- Follow feeding guidelines as per packaging instructions or veterinarian recommendations
- Ensure fresh, clean drinking water is available at all times
- Muesli, cereal, grain and seed mixes are not recommended in small herbivores including rabbits and guinea pigs. These diets can lead to dental disease, digestive disorders and other health conditions
- Alfalfa/lucerne hay is beneficial for young rabbits and guinea pigs 6 months of age and younger as well as during pregnancy and lactation. Due to the high calcium and protein content it should only be fed sparingly to adult rabbits and guinea pigs
